Next to NYX Physicians Formula has to be the best drug store makeup on the market. I only use Physicians Formula gel liners so when they released this palette I was super excited to try it. In general I am never attracted to palettes that contain just basic shades (I already have my basic nudes and blacks cover) so I always look for colors that instantly catch my eye. This palette was no different. With its bright colors and interesting packaging I knew that I has to buy this. Although I visually love the colors I have to say that the pigments are a little lacking. Without a primer you can barely see the colors and some of the purple shades are no different then the others. However, when you combine the light purple, pink, dark purple, and light chartreuse shade together and blend them out it creates a very playful and visually interesting eye, you just need to apply a great primer first.
Although this palette does not contain names for the shades it does contain these looks on the packaging. I used Milk by NYX as the primer on all of the shadows
This palette is my first and only palette by Sugar Baby and I absolutely love it. The pigments are fantastic alone but stand out even more with a primer. This is defiantly not a palette for daytime but would work fantastic at night or at a party. I love that they included the glitter liner in the same turquoise color as the shadow so you can amp up your eyes 100 times by adding this on.
